Spencer's first hair cut

Spencer's curls have been my favorite, combine his little chubby cheeks and his blue eyes he breaks my heart. I have very straight hair and all of my sisters and brother have very curly hair, well Jenn has straight hair too. I love curls I have always envyed my sisters curls they are so beautiful. I know they are a pain to manage but they are nonetheless beautiful. When Spencer's hair started curling I was so excited. I secretly hoped they would last and it was not just because the hair was long. We have put off cutting his hair for a long time for fear that we would cut out all of his curls. Well he was starting to look like a girl, so with a sad heart I got the scissors. Dad held him while I clipped. (I only trimmed the bottom) I hope the curls come back. Chase was the photographer on these shots. He's not a bad shot is he?

Just lovin my boys today

I love these images of the boys. I think they capture their personalities the best. Chase loves life and he takes it in stride. He is a monkey sometimes and rarely sits still. He has developed some reverance since starting school. The world is his classroom though and I do not see him settling for a desk job. He has adventure in his bones.
	Tristan is a bit more serious. He is timid and takes time to test the waters before he will try new things. He has a great sense of humor though, quiet but lethal this one. I think he will be the wisest of the three. If his brothers trust in him he will lead them on their adventures.
Spencer is just a clown. He wants to do everything his big brothers do . He also loves to tease as much as he can. Oh boy they are in real trouble they come running to me all the time yelling that Spencer has taken a toy or pinched them or something. I go to investigate and there is Spencer with a huge grin on his face and laughing. He knows he has won that round. We love him.
I love these boys they are the best thing I ever did. I look at them everyday and thank my Heavenly Father for allowing me to be their mommy.

Halloween at the museum

We had an invite to the childrens museum for a halloween costume party and the whole family went. It was a lot of fun and the boys were so excited. They had so much fun running around playing we almost forgot it was halloween. SO we took some shots of them to remind us of the fun we had. Our little lumpy as we came to call him was in a much better mood today, he proudly showed off his costume as well as his skills as a mack truck driver. We could not keep him away from that big rig. he fastened his seat belt and drove that truck all over the world. We also had a photo op with Brother Bear from the Berenstain Bears show. I was more impressed with him than the boys were. They humored me with this picture. With halloween over we have only the photos and memories as well as an upset tummy from the mounds of candy we will probably still be eating right through until christmas...........unless mom helps it find its way to the trash.

Halloween time

Ok so now I am caught up to the present. Sort of LOL I do not know that i will ever be caught up on life. The boys went to bed early tonight which is rare, and i have time to catch up. We had a wild and crazy halloween. We went to 2 halloween parties and trick or treated all over town. The first party was the Trunk or Treat at church. Chase dressed as a nunja, not to be confused with a ninja, Tristan was a pirate, and Spencer was a very sad Lumpy from Winnie the Pooh. I think he felt a little like the oddball out. He was tired so it was hard to get a shot of him not crying. He perked right up though when he figured out what trick or treating was all about and by the end of the night he was all smiles.

Nuttall boys Birthday party at grammies

With 2 birthdays in Sept and 1 in October the boys are very busy celebrating. I could not fit all of the photos on this blog, it would have been too many. Here are a few. With Spencer's birthday arriving September 13th he set the new tradition. We took him to Toys r us to pick out a birthday present. The store sent him a gift card and gave him a balloon and crown when he arrived. He picked out a medium sized, silver truck with a trailer and a tractor to tow. The box was as tall as he was. I forgot my camera and I am really sad, because the scene that followed was precious. He proudly carried his new toy all the way to the register, there was a little dance in his step as he swaggered back and forth wearing a grin from ear to ear. Oh my gosh I will never forget that face and his little strut. He was so excited. It was better than watching him open a gift. After that the rest of the boys were pumped for their birthdays. Tristan's birthday is last on October 30th and he could hardly stand waiting. He asked every day for weeks if it was his birthday yet. When the big day came he shouted for joy and announced that he was a big boy now cause he was finally 4 years old. We had a birthday party in September with Grandpa Nuttall while he was here for a visit, then another one in October at Grammie and grampie Treadwells house.

Fall pumpkin land trip

Better late than never. Chase got to go to the pumpkin patch with his school class and mommy was able to chaperone. We had a great time. We learned how an apple tree is planted and taken care of. Then we got to pick an apple from the tree to eat. We also learned how they make apple cider and even got to try a sample. After the apple experience we climbed on a tractor and headed to the pumpkin patch. We saw how a farm is laid out and why they have a pond; it is not just for the ducks, the farmer uses it to irrigate the crops. We again were able to pick a pumpkin we got a "baby jack" pumpkin. They are too small for carving and not good to eat but they sure were fun to pick. After all the produce we headed back to the barn to watch how the farmer milked a goat. Did you know that goats milk can be used to make soap and hand lotion?

It was a very fun trip. Chase and I had a great time.
