 The Wise Men

The Wise men were the first to bring the Christ child gifts. They were gifts fitting for the King of all Kings. The Wise men were also the last to visit the Christ child. They journeyed from the east following the star of Bethlehem. They were eager to make the journey to find the savior of the world. The Wise Men exemplify the journey each of us takes as we seek The Lord. They remind us of our search to know the Lord, that as we draw closer to Him, the journey may not be the way we originally planned; rather it is what we feel inspired to do. 
We celebrated Jesus birthday by making a royal chocolate cake from scratch and sharing gifts with each other. And with friends.
