Unlike trees that loose their leaves in the winter time, the Evergreen tree is always green, always alive! People all over the world have to come to see it as a symbol of life. That makes it a great choice for Christmas when we celebrate the most precious life of all...the life of Jesus Christ_who lived and died and lived again so that we can all have eternal life. The trees that we see at Christmas time point heavenward and remind us of the love of God in sending his Son Jesus Christ "Who bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness." (1 Peter 2:24) We made yummy Rice Crispy Christmas trees. all I had was pink minty marshmallows hee hee
